A cordless drill with a hex bit to suit a 10/16 tek screw. Also, a tape measure, & tin snips for cutting.

You can extend any Colorbond panel fence. These are known as ‘Good neighbour’ fencing (same on both sides).

While for many years the slat panel extensions were considered to be compliant when installed properly, recent changes to compliance regulations mean that some individual inspectors, and some councils, mainly in the Sydney area, reject the slat panel. Before ordering horizontal slat panels for a pool compliance fence, please enquire with the relevant individual inspector whether slat is acceptable. (It would likely be worth mentioning the horizontal opening of the slat is 9.5mm). If slat panel is rejected, then the other option is privacy or polkadot panel.
